Counselling is a talking therapy that helps people every day work through a difficult period and move on. There are some conditions where counselling alone may not be completely successful and the area of anxiety and panic attacks is one of them.
A panic attack is a horrible experience. Symptoms can be made up of some or all of the following: increased heart rate, feeling hot or cold, shaking, intense fear, mouth dries, throat feels as if it is closing, breathing becomes shallow, legs seem weak to the point where they could give way, mental confusion, etc..
